APPAM Policy Council

The APPAM Policy Council is the Association's board of directors. It currently consists of four elected cohorts serving staggered, four-year terms of office, and the APPAM Executive Committee (ex officio voting), and the APPAM executive director (ex-officio non-voting). At least two of the persons elected in each cohort must be policy practitioners.

Beginning in 2005 APPAM's individual members will elect seven new persons every year to the Council and APPAM's institutional members will elect a total of four persons to serve on the Council. The Policy Council is responsible for approving all of the strategic decisions of the Association.
