Member Forum: At the Intersection of Data Science and Social Science

The proliferation of new digital data sources and the development of new programming languages that can quickly make sense of these data are changing the nature of how public policy makers and the general public understand how government works – and when it doesn’t. This discussion will focus on the road ahead for data and social science, how to communicate better when the lanes merge, and what this all means for getting to better-informed policies and programs that improve public well-being.

APPAM 2016 Member Survey

At APPAM, we value your membership. In order to ensure that your membership is beneficial - providing you the programming and content you've come to expect from our organization - we are inviting you to provide us feedback.

Through our member survey, we will be able to gauge those member benefits which are most important and assess those benefits which do not hit the mark.

At APPAM, we are "dedicated to improving public policy and management by fostering excellence in research, analysis and education" and we rely on our engaged members to do just that. By participating in the survey, you are providing us the direction and feedback we need to achieve our goal. The APPAM Member Survey will close on September 30th. At the end of the survey, respondents can opt into a random drawing for one of three $100 Amazon gift cards.

Thank you for your participation and for your continued APPAM membership.
