APPAM Searching for Next International Conference Convener

May 19, 2014 01:37 PM

APPAM is soliciting bids for the next International Conference Convener (ICC) for APPAM. The ICC is the key person(s) responsible for arranging at least one international conference on behalf of APPAM for each year of service. The contract for the current ICC, Douglas Besharov, expires at the end of 2015. Proposals are being sought for a four-year period, beginning with the 2015 conference, which will be jointly planned with the current ICC, and continue through 2018.

A copy of the RFP can be downloaded here. For more information on the international conference program, please visit the conference webpage.

Proposals are due to the APPAM office no later than August 31, 2014. To help institutional members interested in submitting a proposal, APPAM would hold a conference call to answer any questions that arise as you prepare your proposal, if there is sufficient interest. Doug Besharov, as well as the APPAM leadership, would participate in the call to answer questions and discuss the proposal process. If you are interested in participating in a call like this, please let Tara Sheehan know no later than June 30, 2014.
