Announcing the 2018 Public Policy Camps

The Public Policy Camp is an initiative to introduce the field of public policy to a group of students who might not otherwise be familiar with it, as well as increase the pipeline of diverse students into APPAM institutional member graduate public policy and public affairs schools. After our inaugural camp at George Washington University, we are thrilled to announce two upcoming Public Policy Camps in September.

Deadline for the 2013 Fall Research Conference Submissions Extended

April 5, 2013 08:08 AM

The deadline to submit programs for the 2013 Fall Research Conference has been extended to April 15. This year’s program aims to build on the knowledge and experience of Association members and their colleagues by examining the current state of research and analysis across critical policy issues, as well as offer an environment to explore the place of research and analysis in future policy deliberations.

For the conference, the 20 traditional APPAM policy areas have been consolidated into 10 broad policy areas. This new structure will better facilitate knowledge-sharing and the exchange of different perspectives among researchers and policy makers.
