Help Us Keep You Abreast of the Latest Policy News

July 1, 2014 09:00 AM

As you know, APPAM members are experts in a wide range of policy areas and we want to make sure that we're keeping you abreast of topical information in all of these areas. We also want to keep our communications relevant to you and your specific research focus. To ensure that you're receiving the most from your APPAM membership, we're excited to announce that we will begin delivering policy area-specific communications this summer!

Starting this month, APPAM members will begin to see changes to their regular semi-monthly APPAM Updates. One will have important policy news from all policy areas, and the other will be geared specifically to the policy area selected in your APPAM member profile.

In order to make this customized form of communication possible, we ask that you login to your account and update your policy focus area in your member profile. We have aligned the focus area selections with those that have proven most popular in recent years, but there is also a field to write-in a more specific focus within an area, if one of the broader areas does not accurately describe your research.

To select your policy area, login to your account and follow the instructions below:

  • Click 'Edit Profile' from the options across the top of the page
  • Click 'Additional Information' in the top left of the page
  • Using the Primary Area of Focus list, select the focus area in which you are interested and click 'Save'

For additional assistance in updating your profile, please contact Tristanne Staudt, 202-496-0130, ext. 207, or reference these more detailed instructions. To be included in these customized communications, we encourage you to update your profile by July 15, 2014.

Thank you for your support of APPAM!
