Top Reason to Attend the Fall Research Conference
May 13, 2015 09:48 AM
The APPAM Fall Research Conference attracts the highest quality research on a wide variety of important current and emerging policy and management issues. The conference is comprised of panels, roundtables, symposia, and poster presentations from 14 policy areas and is designed to encourage substantive interaction among participants.
One top reason to attend the Fall Research Conference is the high quality research papers presented at the conference. The APPAM Online Paper Collection represents a selected cross section of papers, nominated by chairs and discussants at the Fall Research Conference each year. The 2014 conference included more than 260 sessions, featuring over 900 papers on the most cutting edge public policy research being conducted today.
The 2014 collection of papers presented in Albuquerque, NM last November exemplifies the types of issues and research discussed at the conference. The collection is meant to give Association members, members of the greater public policy community, students, practitioners, and policymakers a sense of the research that APPAM members do, the policy issues their research addresses, and the insight they can and do provide in the policy making process.
