APPAM's 30th Anniversary!! Join Us in Los Angeles in November!!
2008 APPAM Fall Research Conference, 6-8 November, Los Angeles, CA. Theme: "The Next Decade — What Are the Big Policy Challenges?" The deadline for proposals was March 14. Acceptance notifications for the conference will be available in late June.
APPAM will hold its 30th Anniversary Research Conference in Los Angeles this November. This website will provide accept/reject notifications for the conference in late June, and the complete conference program online in by early August. Conference registration fees will be announced in late April, and registration will begin by early August. The hotel sleeping room rate will be $189/night (single/double) plus local tax.

2008 APPAM Spring Conference, 5 April in Washington, DC. Theme: "Constructing the APPAM Future: Competition and Cooperation on Campus." Detailed information about the conference program is still available and updates will be made through April.
APPAM held a one day conference on April 5 to discuss the increasingly complex relationships between policy schools and other professional schools relate to public service. The conference will examined how policy schools internally are becoming more complex. About 55 program directors and school deans attended the meetings.
