This conversation will pass the mic to a policymaker and a community leader to explore whether, when, and why “policy-relevant scholarship” is actually relevant to them in their work, based on many years of collaboration with academics. The session will start with a fireside chat moderated by one of the Co-Directors of Northeastern University’s Policy Innovation Hub–who has been an academic, a policymaker, and an NGO leader–which will be followed by a “reverse Q&A” that invites the audience to share their own perspectives on policy-relevant scholarship, surfacing the range of strategies, methods, values, and norms associated with this work.\n\n		\n	\n\n	\n		\n		\n			\n		\n	\n\n	\n		\n			Kimberly D.
