Registration Information
Registration for the APPAM Fall Research Conference is required regardless of the role (presenter, fellow, etc). Registration includes sessions, coffee breaks, Membership & Awards Lunch, Presidential Address & Awards, Poster Reception & Luncheon, APPAM-sponsored special events, the Exhibit Hall, and Career & PhD Fair.

Stay at the Boston Marriott Copley Place and enjoy the convenience of being in the heart of Boston’s vibrant Back Bay, with direct indoor access to Copley Place and the Prudential Center’s shops and restaurants. On-site amenities include multiple dining options, a Starbucks, a 24-hour fitness center, indoor pool, business center, and room service, making it easy to relax, recharge, and make the most of your conference experience.
All sessions and the APPAM room block will be at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. The APPAM Room Rate is $284 a night. The room rate will be available until Monday, October 12 or until the block is filled, whichever comes first. Please note that the hotel will charge a non-refundable deposit of one night’s stay when the reservation is booked.
Special events will take place at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, however there is no room block avaliable at that hotel.

Boston Logan International Airport is five miles from the Boston Marriott Copley Place. The hotel does not offer a shuttle service, but ride-share options are plentiful and can be found by following the airport signage.

Parking
The hotel has a flat-rate $75-a-day parking fee, but there is also parking nearby at the Copley Place Mall and Prudential Center.
Amtrak
Boston is a major Amtrak hub for the Northeast Corridor. The Acela and Northeast Regional stop directly at Back Bay Station.
Public Transportation
Ride Sharing/Taxis
Uber and Lyft both operate throughout Boston. Logan’s Ride App Pickup area provides designated locations for app-based ride services, with clear overhead and ground signage directing passengers to Ride App, Uber, and Lyft pick-up points from each terminal.
Taxis are available at designated taxi stands on the Arrivals level of Terminals A, B, C, and E.
Logan Express
The Logan Express is a convenient, direct bus service that runs from all airport terminals to Dartmouth Street, behind the hotel. It is often considered the best balance of cost and convenience, with free service from the airport to Back Bay.
Bikesharing
Bluebikes, Boston’s public bike-sharing system, offers a convenient alternative to traditional public transportation.

Bus/Subway (MBTA)
The Marriott Copley Place is easily accessible via Boston’s public transportation system, the MBTA (also known as “the T”). The Prudential Station on the Green Line E Branch is accessible indoors via the skybridge through the Prudential Center complex. Several MBTA bus routes also serve the area.
