There are four different general sponsor levels and recognition will be given to each sponsor in marketing materials, onsite at the conference, and on APPAM.org. This is a great opportunity to highlight your program or institution in front of 3,000 potential students and employees.

The complimentary headshot lounge is an attendee favorite that’s open daily in the APPAM Exhibit Hall. Your organization’s logo will be featured prominently on headshot signage and on the website. Attendees line up for a free headshot that will be delivered via email – no appointment required!
Sponsor one of the daily APPAM refreshments breaks in the prominently located APPAM Exhibit Hall. The break includes coffee, tea, and snacks and the sponsor will have their logo on break signage, our website, and in the hands of attendees via branded java sleeves.
To ensure our sponsorship rates are reasonable, APPAM funds half of the break and the break signs will read, “Sponsored in part by”. Sole sponsors will have exclusive signage & java sleeves branding (no APPAM branding). Partial sponsors will have a 50/50 split of the signage & sleeves with the co-sponsors.

Place your organization’s logo on signage for the primary APPAM Communities Lounge! This popular lounge provides a comfortable space for conference attendees to network and discuss issues and research that are important to them. Your organization’s advertisement and URL will appear at the bottom of one of the four daily conference emails. Sponsors can now select the day preference during ordering or purchase all four days, based on availability.

Looking to connect with students this November? #2026APPAM hosts undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students and below are exciting opportunities to reach this growing audience.
This 90 minute session takes place on Friday afternoon and includes a career panel and professional networking for undergraduate and master’s students. The goal is to introduce the field of public policy and different career paths in the field. Your organization’s logo and link will be featured in the online program and event promotional materials, event signage, and you’ll be able to provide swag and/or handouts. This is a non-exclusive sponsorship and may be purchased by up to three organizations.
The Student Hub is a popular lounge area for students and recent graduates to network and recharge in between sessions. The lounge will be located near registration and the APPAM Exhibit Hall. Your organization’s logo and link will be featured in the online program and event promotional materials, on event signage, and you’ll be able to provide swag and/or handouts. This is a non-exclusive sponsorship and may be purchased by up to three organizations.

APPAM is pleased to host the ninth cohort of Excellence, Equity, and Inclusion fellows at the #2026APPAM conference this November. The fellowship recognizes individuals who has overcome substantial obstacles for their accomplishments and bright futures in the public policy world.
The fellowship lunch honors the 2026 fellows alongside APPAM leadership, sponsors, and past fellows, in addition to a keynote address. Lunch sponsors will have their organization featured at the event in signage, all conference materials, and in APPAM leadership welcome remarks. If there is a sole lunch sponsor, they’re invited to give brief remarks. If the lunch or fellowship is a shared sponsorship, remarks will not be given due to timing constraints. Sponsors may provide handouts at the door. This event is non-exclusive and may be sponsored by up to three organizations.
APPAM fellows are invited to a casual reception to meet their peers and grow their networks. Sponsors will be recognized on signage, a table for handouts, and will be invited to give brief welcome remarks to past and current fellows. This event is non-exclusive and may be sponsored by up to three organizations.

APPAM has two unique platforms for digital advertisements this fall. All digital ads have a redirect link to a website of the sponsor’s choosing. APPAM no longer offers a printed program or pocket guide. Attendee’s will solely rely on the Online Program, APPAM website, and mobile app for planning their conference experience.

The APPAM Exhibit Hall has long been the meeting, networking, and refreshment spot for attendees. Various special events are hosted inside of the Exhibit Hall, such as a poster reception, a poster luncheon, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, the headshot lounge, and much more.
APPAM booths come with back and side drape, one to two draped six-foot tables, two chairs, and a small ID sign. Exhibit booths should be staffed throughout the open exhibit hall hours.
Participating in the APPAM Career & PhD Program Fair on Friday? Exhibitors are eligible for a complimentary table at the fair.

These are one of the most popular branded item for both sponsors and attendees alike. Attendees use the bottles throughout the event then take them home as conference souvenirs. Because of their popularity, the water bottles tend to run out on day two so this is a great opportunity to get your logo in the hands of thousands of APPAM attendees.

Attendees line up for limited edition prizes so we’re getting sponsors in on the fun with high quality, co-branded products. 300 umbrellas will be ordered, promoted & used for select giveaways throughout the show. Sponsors are welcome to join in of the APPAM Central booth giveaways during the designated game times.

The Career & PhD Program Fair will take place on Friday, November 6 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Exhibitors are eligible for a complimentary fair table to meet with interested students and job seekers during this two-hour event. Not exhibiting this year? Institutional members receive discounted fair table rates. Tables will be reserved on a first come, first served basis through October 1. The request form is the same as the sponsor order form, via Cognito Forms.
APPAM Institutional Members are invited to host a reception during the conference utilizing complimentary APPAM meeting space in the hotel. APPAM will assign space based on expected attendance and order of request. Organizations will arrange room set up, catering, AV, and direct billing/payment with the hotel.
Affiliates can host on Thursday, November 5 and Friday, November 6 immediately following APPAM programming – dates are assigned based on requested room size and on a first come, first served basis. Space will be reserved on a first come, first served basis through October. Requests will take place in All Academic.
