Early registration closes for the 2018 Fall Research Conference.

One of the most valuable aspects of the annual Fall Research Conferences are the impromptu conversations attendees about a project they’re working on or an idea that they would like some feedback on. It is in the spirit of these important connections that we are introducing the Innovation Lounge. The aim of these sessions is to have a broad discussion on an emerging or not yet fully formed idea or concept in the research field. We invite you to submit a brief proposal.

“We strongly believe that more college students need to be exposed to the field of public policy, so they can understand how evidence-based, innovative policies can address some of the biggest challenges facing societies around the world today," said UCR SPP Dean Anil Deolalikar. "This is why we are so eager to host APPAM’s Public Policy Camp here at UC Riverside’s School of Public Policy."

The 2018 APPAM/Maxwell School Public Policy Camp is designed for promising undergraduate (sophomore – senior) students of color who want to make a difference in their communities. We invite you to be our guests for a one day Public Policy Camp. Having diverse perspectives at the policy table leads to better, more effective and inclusive, public policy. We must work collectively to address this problem.

Join us for an APPAM Student Happy Hour at The Garage! This venue features an old school pub, outdoor patio space, a full bar, great cocktails and wine, and upscale pub food. APPAM will provide appetizers, beer, and wine. Some long-time professional members will be in attendance to provide general research or career insight to students.
