Call for JPAM Point/Counterpoint Topics & Authors

The Journal of Policy Analysis and Management (JPAM) is seeking nominations for future Point/Counterpoint topics & authors. This long-running series provides a forum for thoughtful, evidence-informed debate on today's most pressing public policy issues, bringing together competing perspectives to spark meaningful dialogue and advance policy research.

Under the new leadership of Managing Editor Lisa Gennetian, the series aims to broaden the range of voices represented, including emerging scholars and established leaders, and encourage interdisciplinary conversations across economics, public policy, public management, political science, sociology, public health, and related fields.

“Point/Counterpoint occupies a unique place in the policy community,” Gennetian said. “At a time when public discourse is often polarized, the series offers an opportunity to elevate evidence, engage competing perspectives with intellectual honesty, and advance conversations that ultimately improve public policy.”

APPAM welcomes nominations for timely topics and authors interested in contributing to the Point/Counterpoint series. Submit your ideas by email.
