The 47th Annual Fall Research Conference, titled Forging Collaborations for Transformative and Resilient Policy Solutions, will take place in Seattle, Washington from November 13-15, 2025. Please stay tuned for updates and opportunities to get involved! 

Conference Theme

Forging Collaborations for Transformative and Resilient Policy Solutions: 

Partnerships are critical for designing, implementing, and evaluating public policy, ensuring decisions are well-informed, inclusive, and adaptable. Involving diverse perspectives—from policymakers, researchers, businesses, and citizens—helps create efficient, fair policies that address complex societal challenges and build trust in public services. 

The 2025 APPAM Fall Research Conference will explore how collaborative evidence generation and evaluation can refine policies, address unintended consequences, and improve coordination across all levels of government for transformative, resilient solutions.

Please review each grant's unique criteria before completing the form. You may apply for more than one grant, but based on your application and demand, you will only receive one.

Code of Conduct

Participation in APPAM’s Fall Conference is dictated by adherence to the APPAM Code of Conduct. All attendees are given the opportunity to read the code and agree to abide by it as a condition for registration. The full code can be found here

Mobile App

To help keep you updated while on the go, APPAM offers a conference mobile app, accessible through your smartphone, laptop, or tablet. The app is where you'll find the most up-to-date information about the conference, build your personal schedule, browse paper abstracts, and connect with conference attendees. You can also play the APPAM Scavenger Hunt game to earn points and win prizes.

Please note: There is no paper program or pocket guide. The schedule of sessions and essential conference information will only be available via the mobile app and online program.

This conference mobile app and the All-Academic online program have helpful scheduling tools, but they do not connect. Your saved online program schedule will not be visible in the mobile app.

If you build your schedule in All-Academic, you’ll want to utilize your mobile device’s web browser to access that schedule. If you build your schedule in this conference app, you’ll need to log in, and you can see the saved sessions in the “Schedule” button.

 

Download the app to your phone or device by either following the link above, scanning the QR code, or searching for the EventPilot Conference App in the app store. Then, use the password 2025APPAM to join.

Still have last year's app? After opening, press 'more' in the bottom right corner, select Change Event and enter the password 2025APPAM.
