In response to recent changes in the field of public policy and the stress APPAM members are experiencing, we launched a monthly virtual event called Candid Conversations in May 2025.

As they have grown in popularity, we look forward to continuing to offer these monthly meetups in 2026 and include a suggested conversation starter. These meetups will remain unstructured & attendees are encouraged to discuss whatever is on their mind, including:

the state of the federal workforce
data availability
funding for policy research
the news in general
current projects

Please join us on the last Wednesday of each month to connect and share. These sessions are free and not recorded.
