Registration for the 2017 Fall Research Conference includes access to all sessions, continental breakfast each day, refreshment breaks each day, receptions each evening, lunch on Saturday, and all other non-ticketed conference activities. Please review the Schedule at a Glance to plan your time at the conference.
You will have the opportunity during the registration process to include the below conference add-ons to your registration. While not all events have a cost associated with them, they do require a RSVP to attend. If you have already registered and would like to add one of the following events, please contact Meghan Grenda, firstname.lastname@example.org to modify your registration.
- Wednesday Pre-Conference Workshop ($55 for APPAM members, $65 for non-APPAM members)
- Thursday Poster Session & Luncheon Symposium ($19 for all attendees)
- Friday Policy PhD Careers Fair (While this event is free to attend, registration is required. The Policy PhD Career Fair is only open to students not currently enrolled in a PhD program and professionals who do not hold a PhD.)
- Friday APPAM Membership & Awards Luncheon ($38 for all attendees)

In order to receive member pricing, you must be a current individual APPAM member in good standing. If you need to renew your membership, you must renew your membership first, including payment, before registering for the conference or you will not receive the member price. If you're not sure of your member status or need assistance with renewal/joining APPAM, please contact Meghan Grenda at email@example.com
If you wish to register as a student for the 2017 Fall Research Conference, you must first join APPAM as a student member. The cost of an APPAM student membership is $40 and can be purchased here or onsite at the conference.
APPAM will once again offer a discounted registration rate for government employees. Any local, state, or federal employee with a valid .gov email address is eligible to receive a 15% discount off the current registration rate. To receive this discount, please contact Meghan Grenda at firstname.lastname@example.org for a promotional code to use during the online registration process. This discount will only be offered on pre-registrations (7/17 - 10/24), and will not be offered for onsite registrations.
Registrations can be cancelled and refunded until September 30th, less a $30 administration fee. After September 30th, no refunds will be given for cancelled registrations.
Online registration is now open. Discounted, early online registration for the 2017 Fall Research Conference is available until 9/22. The online registration process will be available until 10/24.
Onsite registration will be available beginning 11/1. The Registration Booth is located in the Regency Foyer of the Hyatt Regency Chicago and will be open during the following hours:

can be made using domestic checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express cards. We cannot accept foreign money orders or bank transfers from individuals. Once you have completed your registration you will be emailed a receipt.
If you would like to be invoiced and pay by check or pay via credit card at a later date, you will be given the opportunity to be invoiced during the online registration process. If paying by check, please make checks payable to “APPAM” and send to APPAM, 1100 Vermont Ave. NW, Ste. 650, Washington, DC 20005.
Please note that all registration balances must be paid in full by Tuesday, October 24th.
Everyone presenting a paper or poster, taking part in a roundtable or acting as a chair or discussant must register and pay for the conference by Friday, September 22. APPAM reserves the right to remove/replace papers from the conference if panelists do not register by this date.

While this event is free to attend, tickets must be reserved through the registration process.
The 2017 PhD Program Fair is open only to students not currently enrolled in a PhD program and professionals who do not hold a PhD.
The PhD Program Fair is a great opportunity for individuals interested in a PhD degree to make connections with institutions offering PhD programs. Select APPAM Institutional Members who offer a PhD program will be onsite to discuss the benefits of their programs with the registered attendees.

Join fellow members for the annual APPAM membership meeting and support your colleagues as various awards are presented to the 2017 winners.
If you would only like to attend the membership meeting portion of this event, and not the lunch portion, a ticket is not required. However, if you would like to attend both the membership meeting and the awards lunch, a ticket is required.
