The deadline for the annual APPAM elections is coming up in five days. As a member, you have the opportunity to vote for the leadership of the association, and decide who will represent you and your fellow members in the Policy Council. The nominees this year are impressive, diverse and are eager to serve the public policy and public administration community. New York University's Sherry Glied, running unopposed for the position of President-Elect, has written a position piece, which will allow you to get to know her and her plans for the organization. All the other positions are contested, and every nominee has also written a short presentation of their work and candidacy, which you can find here.
If you are an APPAM member you should have received an email with an individualized ballot and instructions. If you have not received or cannot find your ballot, please reach out to Tara Sheehan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
