Congratulations to Daniel Santos from University of Massachusetts, Boston, on being selected to serve as one of two student members on the APPAM Policy Council. Daniel's term will run through 2023.
This year, APPAM received the largest number of nominees ever for Policy Council and Student Activities Committee (SAC). While Daniel will serve on the board, representing all APPAM student members, SAC is an indispensable part of the APPAM committee system. Committee members review student proposals for the Annual Fall Research Conference, help create and record content for student podcasts The Wonk and Let’s Grab a Coffee, help with professional development webinars and will help improve and build upon APPAM's student mentorship program. SAC provides an important pipeline for students to enter into APPAM leadership in the future.
